This afternoon, MBGE was honored to host the Fund for Local Cooperation (FLC) Coordinator from the Embassy of Finland in Pretoria for a courtesy visit. The discussion centered on our FLC-funded project, “Empowering Communities to Respond to Gender-Based Violence in Ghanzi District.”
The 15-month initiative (July 2025 – September 2026) is being implemented in D’kar, Kuke, and Chobokwane. The project adopts a multi-faceted, community-driven approach aimed at strengthening prevention, response, and support systems to address the high prevalence of gender-based violence in these communities.
